Monday on The Chad Hasty ShowQuorum Report editor Scott Braddock joined the broadcast to share all the latest from Austin and the Texas legislature.

Braddock and Hasty discussed the spending plan for the state, what's happened recently in the Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Senator Kel Seliger saga, how West Texas fared in this session's committee appointments, and more.

Hasty asked Braddock to comment on news released Friday by the office of the Texas Secretary of State, directing counties in Texas to investigate possible vote fraud.

Braddock, during his reply, said,

It looks like what the Secretary of State's office is saying is that they're going to be doing a rolling purge every month. This is new. They're going to be doing this every month, where they roll out their list and say to the counties, at the local level, 'You need to send notices out to people who may be on the voter rolls, but may not be eligible to vote.' And then it would be on the counties to follow up with those voters, and make those voters prove that they are in fact eligible to vote, and make sure that nobody is voting illegally.
