Lubbock Police responded to 2 different calls of shots-fired during the week of November 30th, both near 50th Street and Avenue A.

The night of Tuesday, December 1st, police responded to a residence in the 500 block of 52nd Street. A resident told police that they heard around 4 gunshots.

After reviewing surveillance footage, LPD reported that the video showed someone in their car firing 4 shots and then continuing to drive off westbound on 52nd Street. Police were able to find shell casings in the area.

KAMC News reports that it hasn't been determined yet if the shooter was firing at anyone in particular or the residence.

There were no injuries reported and there wasn't any list of property damage.

On the afternoon of the day after, Wednesday, December 2nd, police were called to the 200 block of 54th Street.

Police say that someone fired around 5 or 6 shots outside of someone's house. Similarly to the first case, it's undetermined if these shots were directed at any person or residence in particular. It's also unknown if these 2 incidents are related in any way.

Again, similarly to the first incident, there were no reports of injuries or property damage for this case. Police have said that evidence was collected, but what kind of evidence exactly wasn't specified.
