Passenger Dies After Jumping Out of Pickup Truck Along Interstate 27

A passenger of a pickup truck was killed after exiting a moving vehicle along Interstate 27 in Lubbock County.
On Saturday, February 19th, the Lubbock Police Department were called to the 5800 block of Interstate 27 at approximately 1 a.m. for an accident. When officers arrived, 32-year-old Brandon Brock was found dead at the scene.
The driver, 31-year-old Morgan Dool, told authorities that Brock rolled down the window while they were driving and exited the vehicle. Brock was struck by the vehicle and killed at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
