Back in May, Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the testing of all nursing home staff and residents for COVID-19, and so far there have been 0 positive tests out of Lubbock.

Lieutenant Phillip Grandon with Lubbock Fire Rescue said on Thursday, June 11th that they had finished testing at all 12 nursing facilities.

KAMC News reports that almost 1,700 tests were performed, and while the Public Health Department says they're waiting on 300 results to come back, no one has tested positive.
