On February 17, News/Talk 790, KFYO debuted new logos for online and merchandising use. The logos replace the "Kickin' K" series of KFYO logos used since the mid-1970s.  KFYO's previous logo had been in use since the early 1990s, with updates for merchandising in the 2000s.

A few notes about the design of the new logos:

The new KFYO logos were designed by Utmost Design, located at 2424 Texas Avenue in Lubbock. The colors for the new logos use the same Pantone codes for "Deep Steel Blue" and "Battle Red" used by the Houston Texans.
