ESPANOLA, N.M. (AP) — Federal investigators will be on the scene in northern New Mexico Saturday to look into a small plane crash that police say killed both people aboard Friday.

New Mexico State Police say the single-engine plane went down Friday afternoon near the Ohkay Owingeh Airport near the city of Espanola, about 25 miles north of Santa Fe.

Federal Aviation Administration investigators are set to arrive Saturday to begin their probe into the crash.

Authorities haven't identified the victims.
