Neugebauer On Debt Ceiling: It’s Crunch Time

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer was asked about the likelihood of the two parties signing a debt ceiling agreement before the August 2^nd deadline.

“You know, I think the likelihood of that I’d put at less than 50% to get it done by August 2^nd, "Neugebauer said.  "I mean, that doesn’t say we won’t get it done, and we shouldn’t keep working to get it done.  But when you get to thinking about a two or three or four-trillion dollar package, we’re getting down to crunch time.

Neugebauer said the talks are not making the progress claimed by the White House.
