On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer was asked about the likelihood of the two parties signing a debt ceiling agreement before the August 2nd deadline.

“You know, I think the likelihood of that I’d put at less than 50% to get it done by August 2nd, "Neugebauer said.  "I mean, that doesn’t say we won’t get it done, and we shouldn’t keep working to get it done.  But when you get to thinking about a two or three or four-trillion dollar package, we’re getting down to crunch time.

Neugebauer said the talks are not making the progress claimed by the White House.
