Well, here we have it: the final nail in the coffin. I have no idea how Elon is going to financially recover from this. It's heartbreaking to see this happen to such a household name. I am, of course, referring to the defacing of an Elon Musk bust at Boca Chica near the SpaceX launch facility.

Just see for yourself what recently happened after an unknown vandal left their mark (multiple marks, actually) on the massive 9-foot sculpture.

I have no idea what tool was used in the attack. A knife? An axe? Someone's pet velociraptor? It's really too hard to tell.

The X account ElonRWA was quick to post about the event. The statue was actually commissioned by a French entrepreneur in the likeness of a popular drawing of Musk which ended up being turned into a crypto token.

There were a slew of "never surrender" replies to the post, and pro-Musk advocates took this attack as a rallying cry for supporting Elon Musk's ventures in space exploration and government involvement.

This recent defacing was just the latest in a string of anti-Musk vandalism across the nation, as Tesla stores and cybertrucks seem to be the target for many Americans frustrated with his efforts in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

This begs the question of whether these protests are worth the thousands of dollars in damages and even potential jail time they inevitably cause. All I know is that attacking a statue that the richest man in the world didn't even pay for probably won't do much in the long run. Sorry.
