More details have been released concerning a deadly crash that happened on Friday, May 1st in Lubbock.

KAMC News reports that a Ford pickup truck, driven by 69-year-old Sharyon Butler, was traveling westbound in the 7200 block of 50th Street when it ran a stop sign.

A Hyundai that was traveling in the 4900 block of Upland Avenue collided with the pickup.

Butler was transported to University Medical Center and was pronounced dead 2 days later.

The driver of the Hyundai, 26-year-old Lorenzo Flores and the 2 passengers in the car, were transported to UMC with minor injuries.
