Michael Massengale Tells Why Conservative Judges Needed on Texas Supreme Court [INTERVIEW]

On Wednesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Michael Massengale, candidate for Supreme Court of Texas, Place 3, joined Chad to talk about his campaign.

When asked by Hasty why Massengale decided to run for the Texas Supreme Court, and what he believes is the reason why people should consider him when election time arrives, Massengale responded,

Voters in Texas have repeatedly shown their preference to have conservative judges at the (Supreme) court. We know that Texans want judges who will be faithful to the laws that are enacted by our legislature, the people we elect and send to Austin, and they don't want judges re-writing the laws, shaping the laws, imposing their own views and legislating from the bench. And that's why I got into this race, to give voters a choice for a conservative judge on the Supreme Court in this spot.

Massengale is currently serving on the First Court of Appeals, a position to which he was appointed by Governor Rick Perry, and to which he was subsequently re-elected.
