Meet the Candidates for Lubbock City Council: Jeff Griffith [Audio]

Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, Lubbock City Council District 3 candidate Jeff Griffith spoke about his campaign. Griffith is running against Deanne Clark, interviewed Monday, and Maurice Stanley, who will be interviewed Wednesday. The election will be held May 10.

Griffith is the owner of BrandSource Radiolab. He proposes the city be run like a business. He would like to increase efforts to protect property values and reduce crime. When asked what he believes the City Council needs, he stated the need for increased communication to create progress. Griffith said, "I think we need a spirit of cooperation. I think we need a body that works together."
