Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock's Mayor Dan Pope joined guest host Carl Tepper in the KFYO studio to discuss issues facing the city. Several topics were discussed, including Citizen's Tower, Lubbock streets, the city's efforts to assist areas affected by Hurricane Harvey, as well as Lubbock's plans for police substations.

While talking about the substations, Pope said,

That would serve the community in a number of ways. First of all it puts those police resources closer to the residents that they're protecting and serving. It's a much more efficient way of doing things.
