Mayes Middleton Urging Ban On Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying [INTERVIEW]

Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas District 23 Representative Mayes Middleton joined the program to discuss Proposition 3 on the Republican Party primary ballot, and to encourage citizens to vote for the proposition which states that Texas should ban taxpayer-funded lobbying.

"This is truly the opportunity for Republican primary voters to have their voices heard, and for taxpayers to have their voices heard, to send a message to our state legislature that they want taxpayer-funded lobbying banned," said Middleton.

The proposition's wording is as follows:

“Texas should ban the practice of taxpayer-funded lobbying, which allows your tax dollars to be spent on lobbyists who work against the taxpayer.”
