Monday on The Chad Hasty Show Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to discuss news and current events.

Mackowiak talked about the big races in the Texas primary election, Democrat party candidates and the state of that party in Texas, as well as President Trump's recent announcement about metal tariffs.

Hasty asked Mackowiak about which races he views as most interesting, and Mackowiak replied,

Obviously the Ag Commissioner race, Land Commissioner races are going to be interesting to watch. Does George P. Bush avoid a run-off? Is Sid Miller in any real danger? ... I think those are the state-wides to watch.
