Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show political strategist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss both national and state news on the political front.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the results of the mid-term elections and the ramification for the state of Texas, as well as how they will affect national elections for the Republican Party in 2020.

Mackowiak said,

2020 is a hugely consequential election in Texas...There are huge ramifications [from] the mid-term [election results]. I think that the state [Republican] party is taking it very seriously and just trying to basically send a signal to the Trump campaign: 'You can't take Texas for granted.'

Mackowiak also talked about the Democrat candidates for president, the main candidates so far including Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, and the rapidly increasing pace of movement to the political and social left.
