On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show Matt Mackowiak, Washington Times columnist and political analyst, joined the show to talk about current news and events.

Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the latest on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), President Trump's appearance at the the annual NRA's Leadership Forum in Dallas, Rudy Giuliani joining the legal team at the White House, impeachment, the economy, and more.

On Giuliani's appearance on the scene and his recent media interviews Mackowiak said,

It seems to me Rudy is causing more problems than he's solving.

While speaking of Trump's NRA event appearance, and the President's goal of keeping his base engaged, Mackowiak said,

[President Trump's] ability to turn out his voters is going to determine whether Republicans can hold the House or not.
