Monday on The Chad Hasty Show Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to discuss the "omnibus" spending bill passed by Congress and signed by President Trump, the Stormy Daniels interview, and John Bolton's appointment to be the next National Security Adviser.

About the controversial spending bill, which is being lambasted by conservatives as the status quo continuing the usual federal spending and funding, Mackowiak said,

This whole legislative year is going to be unsatisfying for, certainly for conservatives, and probably for most Republicans. I just don't know that I see much of a path for them to achieve much at all.
