An employee of Ford Contract Services has sued X-fab for negligence due to an incident that happened at a Lubbock facility in September of 2018.

KAMC News reports that the man, Brayson Hughes, was cleaning the tanks at the facility located at 2301 North University. While sandblasting the inside of one of the tanks, Hughes attached the blast hood hose to an unlabeled hose.

Hughes lost consciousness shortly after, and it was revealed the unlabeled hose was a nitrogen line. Hughes was said to have suffered nitrogen inhalation.

Hughes says that X-fab failed to provide adequate training for their employees and failed to provide a safe place to work.

Hughes seeks between $200,000 and $1 million in damages.
