Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Republican strategist Matt Mackowiak joined the broadcast to discuss the latest news in politics.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the leading choices from which Joe Biden will select his running mate and the delayed announcement of his pick, as well as Texas Governor Greg Abbott's poll numbers, negotiations for a new coronavirus stimulus and unemployment package, and much more.

Hasty asked if Mackowiak sees red flags in the postponement of Joe Biden's announcement of his running mate selection. Mackowiak said, "Yeah it could...I don't know that I'd read too much into it. What I think is clear is that there is a lot of internal jockeying." Mackoviak then detailed his views on several of the potential candidates.
