On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Washington Times columnist and political analyst Matt Mackowiak joined the show to discuss recent news and events.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the recent debate between the two Democrat candidates for Governor of Texas, President Trump's numerous accomplishments in the past few weeks, and whether or not the "Blue Wave" in Texas will pan out as some pundits were forecasting in the next election.

While speaking on the rumored 'Blue Wave' that some say will sweep Texas, with Democrat victories replacing Republicans in many House seats, Mackowiak said,

I don't believe really any of the seats that Republicans hold in Texas are likely to become Democratic. But, we'll see, it depends on how big the wave is this year. It looked pretty big three months ago, it looks smaller now.
