Mackowiak: ‘Disastrous’ Valdez Campaign Shows Weakness of Texas Democrat Party [INTERVIEW]
Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, political analyst and Washington Times columnist Matt Mackowiak joined the show to talk about all the latest buzz and facts in news and politics.
Mackowiak and Hasty discussed the "Nunes memo" and it's fallout with much more promised to come, another looming "government shutdown", Democrat primary campaigns to challenge Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R), and more.
Mackowiak said, "Lupe Valdez has been a pretty disastrous candidate so far," detailing gaffes made by Valdez, as well as losses of endorsements and how she is quickly falling behind Andrew White's campaign fund raising. Mackowiak continued,
It's another sign of how sort of feckless and ridiculous the Texas Democrat party is, that even when they recruit a candidate for governor, they can't seem to put a real campaign together and find a good person to challenge the sitting governor.
