Mackowiak: ‘Clearly Something Not Right’ With Biden’s Mental Acuity [Interview]

Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Republican strategist Matt Mackowiak joined the broadcast to talk about news from Washington. D.C., including the massive 1.9 trillion dollar COVID-19 stimulus plan, the lack of any press conference or address to the nation by President Biden, and much more.

About the coronavirus stimulus bill and the likelihood that it will be passed in the legislature, Mackowiak said:

It's a done-deal at this point. The House has accepted it, even House progressives are sort of swallowing it, not having everything that they want. It has a large price tag...I think something like one percent of the bill goes to actual COVID relief. It's all kinds of other things, bailing out cities and states, every left-wing stimulus idea that over the last ten years they were able to jam into this thing...[The Democrats] passed it by basically one vote in the Senate. By winning those two Senate seats in Georgia, it made this possible...It's a terrible bill, it's not going to work.

Mackowiak and Hasty also discussed the importance of Republicans holding their current seats in the Senate, the possibility that Herschel Walker may run for for the Senate, and the extreme importance of keeping the filibuster.

Also in the conversation were the possible reasons for the glaring lack of any press conferences being held by President Biden, and the fact that he has not yet scheduled his Joint Session address. Mackowiak said,

The only possible conclusion you can come to is that he is not in good shape. And I hate to say that, I don't say that with any joy or glee. He clearly has had some mental acuity issues in recent years. The fact that he hasn't has a press conference, the fact that he hasn't scheduled his State of the Union [Address]...There's clearly something not right.
