The City of Lubbock is celebrating Pride Month with their annual Pride Parade happening on Saturday, June 4th.

The parade itself will start at 7 p.m. at 13th Street and Texas Avenue near Italian Garden. The parade will end at The Library Bar at 17th Street and Texas Avenue.

KAMC News reports that Food trucks and vendors began setting up at 10 a.m., and the event will be going on all day.

The parade isn't the only pride-related event happening for Pride Month. The day after, June 5th, the LubbockPRIDE Movie Brunch fundraiser is taking place at Alamo Drafthouse with a showing of "Too Wong Foo, thanks for everything! Julie Newmar."

On Saturday, June 18th the Pride Potluck and Pride Night will take place at Mackenzie Park. On Friday, June 24th the East Lubbock Art House Pride Picnic and on Saturday, June 25th the Top of Texas LGBTQ Book Club will take place at Wild Lark Books.
