The man believed to be responsible for setting fire to a Schlotzsky's in Lubbock has been arrested in Roswell, New Mexico.

19-year-old Blair Warner was actually first arrested back on July 6th after Lubbock Police responded to an alarm being tripped at a restaurant in the 5700 block of 19th Street. This was at around 4:46 a.m.

Officers noted that the exterior door to the restaurant looked like it had been pried open and later found Warner in the office of the business with a metallic pole. He was arrested that day but allegedly continued his burglary spree a little over a week later.

The Schlotzsky's in question says that it was the victim of multiple burglaries in July, having glass broken and paychecks stolen. The last instance involved a note being left on the owner's desk that read: "Leave $5,000 cash on this desk overnight on the night of 7/17 if you do I will bring all your devices if you don't you'll regret it."

On August 2nd, the restaurant was set on fire by a suspect officials believe to be Warner. An alert was sent out for information leading to his arrest, and he was finally located on Wednesday, August 17th in Roswell, New Mexico.

KAMC News reports that a background check was run by a local shelter, and that background check revealed that he had an active arrest warrant. He was arrested and remains in custody at the Chaves County Detention Center before being eventually extradited to the Lubbock County Detention Center.
