
Lubbock Resident Wins $1 Million Dollars Playing The Texas Lottery
There is a new millionaire in Texas. In fact, there is a new millionaire in Lubbock after a resident won a million dollar prize playing the Texas Lottery and Powerball.
According to KAMC, a Lubbock resident won just over one million dollars on a Powerball ticket. The winner was able to match all five of the numbers on the white ping pong balls. They did not match the red power ball.

So while the Lubbock resident didn't win the grand prize, a million dollars is not a bad prize to walk away with.
The winning ticket according to KAMC was purchased at a Stripes Store located at 806 34th Street in Lubbock.
As we have seen in many other cases involving the Texas Lottery, the winner has chosen to remain anonymous. This is something that financial experts actually advice people to do.
