Lubbock Police Called to Pedestrian Accident
Lubbock police were called Monday morning (August 13th) to a pedestrian accident which resulted in serious injuries.
According to police, the driver of an SUV was going southbound in the 100 block of Zenith Avenue when they hit a 48-year-old female pedestrian in the roadway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The driver was identified as a 32-year-old woman. The driver initially left the scene, but she called police and returned to talk to officers.
