Lubbock Man Indicted on Two Counts of Sexual Assault of a Child
On Wednesday, November 18th, 2020, a Lubbock man was indicted on two counts of sexual assault of a child.
The first victim, interviewed by police in October 2020, said that the suspect, 38-year-old Christopher Charles Johnson (pictured above), sexually assaulted them almost every day since roughly April of 2016. They said that if they said "no" to Johnson, he would get mad and assault them.
They also claimed they tried to run away once, and Johnson responded by punching them in the face. Another time, the victim said Johnson wouldn't let them leave so they were forced to break a window to escape.
It's said that Johnson had once taken sexually explicit pictures of the victim and sent them to his ex-girlfriend. KAMC News reports she broke up with Johnson soon after that. Her involvement in any of these incidents has not been confirmed by any source.
The victim says they once walked in and found their sibling being sexually assaulted by Johnson. His relationship to both of the victims wasn't made immediately clear in the report.
Not only that, the victim alleges Johnson would always walk past them and touch them inappropriately.
The identities of both victims have not and will not be released to the public.
Johnson is currently booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center with bonds totaling $200,000.
