Grand Jury Indicts Lubbock Man for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

On Tuesday, March 10th, 2020, 27-year-old Sergio Cuellar was indicted by a grand jury for aggravated sexual assault of a young child.

According to KAMC News, a family friend reported the 2014 incident in December of 2019 after their daughter told them about it.

Court records say that the victim told investigators Cuellar sexually assaulted them after they came home from school. The victim was able to recall three separate incidents, and Cuellar admitted he remembered two of them.

Cuellar was arrested February 19th, 2020 and held on a $150,000 bond. He was released on bond three days later.
