Police Arrest Lubbock Man for Setting Fire to Apartment Complex

A Lubbock man has been arrested for setting fire to an apartment complex in which two people have died.
Lubbock Fire Rescue reports that on Sunday, May 31st, 2020 they were called to a fire at the River Oaks Villa Apartments in the 1300 block of 65th Drive at about 10:30 a.m.
Two people have been confirmed to have died from injuries they sustained in the fire, while two others suffered only minor injuries.
More than 16 apartment units were damaged by the fire and some tenants have been displaced. Thirty-five-year-old Todd Byrant Miller has been arrested for arson causing death or serious bodily injury.
