Lubbock Police Arrest Primary Suspect in Deadly Shooting
A Lubbock man is in custody for his alleged connection to a deadly weekend shooting.
Police say shots were fired just before midnight on Saturday, Sept. 28th, 2019 in the 7500 block I-27. Thirty-six-year-old George Garcia Jr. was found severely wounded at the scene, and pronounced dead while being taken to a hospital by EMS.
Officers with the Metro Special Crimes Unit arrested 34-year-old Adrian Castillo, at about 8 a.m. Sunday morning, just hours after the shooting
The primary suspect in the shooting, Adrian has been charged him murder and is currently being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.
