Lubbock ISD Band Students to Wash Cars Again to Raise Money for January Rose Parade Trip

Lubbock ISD band students will be washing cars again in South Lubbock to raise money for a January trip.

Students from all four LISD high schools will be working at the Quick Quack Car Wash on 80^th Street and University Avenue this Saturday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Students will also be offering chances to win a new Lexus IS 250 from Alderson Lexus. More than 500 band students from LISD will be participating in the 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California in January.

The group will be the largest band in the parade, and the only band from Texas. For more information, visit www.roses.lubbockisd.org.
