The 2013 West Texas Home Builder's Association Lubbock Home and Garden Show is at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center this weekend.  The three-day event runs March 1-3.

Today, March 1, the show will be open from 4p-8p. Saturday the show will be open from 9a-6p and on Sunday the show will be open from Noon-6p.

There will be speakers and numerous displays for every aspect of home improvement at the Home and Garden Show.

Some of the speakers will focus on new energy efficient aspects of home building, renovation and lawn care.

Also, appearing on Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News on KFYO, Jacob Criado with Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery in Lubbock. Criado talked about Ferguson's fully functional bathroom display at the Home and Garden Show. He also mentioned they will have some of the latest displays from Kohler in their booth.

Tickets cost $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 & under and three-day passes can be purchased for $10.

Finally, KFYO listeners can meet talkshow host Robert Pratt will be at the Home and Garden Show today (March 1) from 5p-7p.
