The West Texas Home Builders Association has announced dates for the 2018 Parade of Homes. Homes in this year's showcase will be open for touring beginning June 9 and remain open until June 24, 2018.

The following is an official press release from the West Texas Home Builders Association:

With over a year of planning and months of construction, the West Texas Home Builders Association and it’s builders, developers and vendors proudly present 27 homes in 3 amazing developments.

The Parade will showcase the latest trends in new construction and design as well as make a case for why area residents should consider buying new vs pre-owned homes.

Homes will be available for touring June 9 - 24th with new and extended hours: 6-9pm on weekdays, 10am-3pm on Saturdays, & 1-6pm on Sundays. In addition, guests can tour each subdivision as part of the popular Parade After Dark, featuring food trucks and live entertainment.

South Fork Ranch – Tuesday, June 19th – 6:00 – 10:00pm
Preston Manor – Wednesday, June 20th – 6:00 – 10:00pm
Stratford Pointe – Thursday, June 21st – 6:00 – 10:00pm

Priced from the mid $300’s - $1.5 Million, this year’s homes can be toured in Preston Manor (922 Cantebury); South Fork Ranch (Slide & CR 7630) and Stratford Pointe (139th & Quaker). Parade sponsors include Atmos Energy, AJ Media, FirstBank & Trust and PrimeWest Mortgage.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and under.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Lubbock Homes for Heroes, a charitable organization formed by the builders of the West Texas Home Builders Association to construct mortgage-free homes for local heroes. Additionally, CASA of the South Plains will host their annual “Casas for CASA” fundraiser in the Stratford Pointe subdivision. After touring the Parade of Homes, visitors can tour beautifully crafted playhouses constructed by some of the same builders as the homes on the Parade.

“With so many great reasons to buy new, we are excited to share the best Lubbock builders and developers have to offer as part of the 63rd Annual Parade of Homes,” noted Parade Chairman Milad Fakhreddine. “Whether you are in the market for a new home, getting ideas to remodel your existing home, or just wanting a great date night or girl’s night out, you will enjoy this iconic special event. With extended Parade After Dark hours, food trucks and live music, we invite you to be our guest at the 2018 Parade of Homes.”
