People across the State of Texas including here in Lubbock are beginning to return to physical offices and workplaces. Some businesses are returning sooner than others, but just about all work places will see some changes. The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a webinar on Wednesday, August 26th at 2 p.m. on this topic of returning to the workplace. The name of the webinar is, "Returning to the Physical Workplace: A Guide for Businesses Across Texas.

This webinar is the second in the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 Pivot Series. According to a press release, speakers will be giving tips on how to safely return to the workplace.

Texans are slowly returning to the physical workplace, in conjunction with the re-opening of schools, colleges, and universities across the state. The webinar, led by Jeremiah Bentley, Vice President Marketing & Community Affairs; and Nina Leung, epidemiologist, both of Texas Mutual Insurance Company, will share what policyholders are doing and provide tips to help businesses across Texas safely return to the workplace from lessons they've learned throughout the pandemic.

Tickets are $25. Chamber members receive a discounted price of $15. The entire series can be purchased for $200, and the Chamber member discount is $100.

This won't be the last webinar the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host on COVID-19. In the future, they will cover Forecasting for bars, restaurants, hotels, and large gatherings. They will also host a webinar on loans, and the new norm in childcare, along with many others. For more details on the series, visit the Lubbock Chamber's website.
