Spring is here in Lubbock and we want to help you make plans during the beautiful weekends that we have in Lubbock and the surrounding areas.

Lubbock Uncorked might be considered the event that kicks off Spring in Lubbock and this weekend it is time for the wine festival to be enjoyed by wine lovers across the South Plains, and the weather is supposed to be perfect.

Lubbock Uncorked is hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and is held on Saturday, April 1 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the American Windmill Museum. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 or at the door for $65. With the ticket to get in you also get a wrist bad with 10 tickets good for a one ounce pour. Extra drink tickets can be purchased during the event.

More than 20 wineries from Texas will be featured at Lubbock Uncorked and there will also be food vendors and live music.

For those who may not know, this area is very well known for the growing wine industry in Texas. In fact, the next time you purchase a wine, see where the winery is from or where they get their grapes from. Chances are, Lubbock, Brownfield and other areas in our region will be the answer.

So why not celebrate our great wine industry and the continued growth and popularity of our wine industry! That's what Lubbock Uncorked is all about. So this Saturday, make sure Lubbock Uncorked is part of your plans for a great weekend in Lubbock.
