The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is doing what they can to help Lubbock businesses get back to work by offering COVID-19 testing kits to businesses.

The testing kits are from the Texas Department of Emergency Management. Along with the testing kits that the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will be passing out will be PPE equipment provided by AT&T.

The testing kits that the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will be able to distribute can be good for businesses that suspect numerous cases of COVID-19 being transmitted at their offices or place of business.

Some businesses in other parts of Texas have used these tests to test employees before more show symptoms of the coronavirus.

According to the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, businesses wanting to get the testing kits will have to complete a 30-minute certification process to become a test administrator. After taking the Binax Training for Businesses course, there is a 13-question test that must be passed in order to become certified and to qualify to receive the testing kits from the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

To learn more about the testing kits being distributed by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and to take the course in order to receive a testing kit, visit the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce website for more details.

In an email earlier Monday about the testing kits that the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce just recently received, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce did not mention how many test kits were available for businesses, so you may want to act quickly.
