Lubbock Bomb Scare Ruled False Alarm
On Wednesday February 10, a block of 60th St. and Avenue V was blocked off for a couple of hours due to a bomb scare.
Lubbock Police received a call about a suspicious package at that location just before 6:00 p.m. o'clock Wednesday evening.
The Lubbock Bomb Squad arrived on the scene to investigate, and was able to dismiss the contents of the package calling the situation a false alarm.
