LPD Detectives Investigate Potential Kidnapping

The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a possible kidnapping. According to a news release, officers responded to the 500 block of Slide Road on Sunday, May 10, after receiving information on a potential kidnapping.

Police believe that 17-year-old Angel Guzman pulled 15-year-old Isabelle Cabrera into his white Dodge Charger just before 12:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said the car’s last known location was in Sweetwater, but announced last night, on Sunday, May 10, that both Guzman and Cabrera had been located somewhere in Dallas.

It's not known how or in what state Guzman and Cabrera were found. Detectives are still investigating what happened.
