Monday on Lubbock's First News, one of the three Destination ImagiNation teams from LISD that qualified for the global finals spoke about what qualified them for the competition.

One team member said, "We made up the Sewer Squad by by going over ideas what we could do for our big problem. It's to survive in extreme environments with extreme gear." The team created a musical story based on the sewer as an extreme environment. The story takes off when a kid loses his teddy bear down the toilet. Their nanny, "Mary Poopins," takes the kids to the sewer to help find the lost bear. Get more details on their production and a sample of their musical talent by listening to the interview below.
