A Texas man is facing criminally negligent homicide charges after leaving two friends in a bedroom where they died.

According to police 22-year-old Cullen Marino placed his two friends 17-year-old Kyle McNutt and 18-year-old Chase Nunez in a bedroom to “sleep it off” after a night of drinking and drug use. The two teens were discovered the next morning by Marino’s father who called 911. When paramedics arrived they found both teens had already deceased.

Police are holding Marino in the Grapevine City jail on $10,000 bond and charged him with criminally negligent homicide.

Southlake Carroll Senior High School is providing counselors following the deaths of the two teens.

A toxicology report has not yet released results and an attorney for Marino was not listed in his jail records.
