Kazianis: Expect More North Korean Missile Flights Soon [INTERVIEW]
Thursday on the P.M. edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Harry Kazianis, Director of Defense Studies at the Center for the National Interest, joined the broadcast to talk about the increasing rift between the United States and North Korea, how President Biden's policy is differing from that of former President Trump, and what to expect in the near future.
While speaking about the Biden administration's foreign policy, and the communist country's multiple short-range missile tests last weekend, Kazianis said,
I think we're sliding toward crisis once again. It feels like when we used to talk in 2017 and the beginning of 2018. I think where we are right now is, I think the Biden administration really doesn't have any patience for diplomacy with Pyongyang. I think how they look at it, is it was a Trump initiative. I don't think they're in any mood to give any credit to what Trump did with North Korea, which I think was a lot of good, to be honest with you...I think where we are right now is Biden is going to unveil more sanctions on North Korea in the next coming weeks, and we will see more North Korean missiles in the sky.
