On Tuesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Dr. Kalev Sepp, Senior Lecturer in Defense Analysis at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, former U.S. Army Special Operations officer, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations Capabilities, joined guest host Matt Crow to talk about the rapidly changing hotspots and conflict areas around the globe.

Sepp and Crow discussed the ongoing issues in the Middle East, as well as the tense standoff between the U.S. and North Korea over nuclear weapons and threats to the United States.

While describing some of the basis for the situation, Sepp said,

The North Koreans, in most analyses, the North Koreans can be seen as being like the Russians during the Cold Ward. A lot of talk about the [Korean self reliance] and  the purity of the Korean race, it's very racist, interestingly.
