On the Thursday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, The Honorable John N. Hostettler from the Texas Public Policy Foundation joined Chad on the program to discuss the progress on illegal immigration and asylum that has been made under President Donald Trump's leadership, and what will happen to those reforms under a Joe Biden administration, should he be inaugurated as president.

Hostettler talked about the "remain in Mexico" asylum and immigration policies adopted by the United States and why those policies were developed, reducing the mass border influx that has taken place in recent years by people seeking entry to the U.S. from Mexico and other Latin American countries.

While speaking about Joe Biden's policies that would change the safeguards put in place by President Trump, Hostettler said,

You're going to have this rush to the border again, and we're going to have the crisis at the border, probably unlike anything we've seen for decades.
