Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt to talk about his test drive of the week in the BMW 740e, Toccata possibly selling the company, and Tesla's self-driving cars.

Jerry started off his review of one of BMW's largest series of cars by saying that despite the vehicle being very nice, it was a little bit strange to him as a hybrid. The car only has 14 miles of range before it has to switch over to a 4 cylinder gas engine, making the electric side of the car only useful for short commutes in town. "As a hybrid, it's not a lot of use, but it's still a car that's hard not to like just because it's so comfortable and because it drives and rides so well," Jerry explained. The car has a window sticker of $99,900.

The Car Pro also talked about Toccata's plans to sell their company rather than going bankrupt as some had predicted. There are still around 40 million people driving with defective airbags due to Toccata not having enough parts.
