Jerry Reynolds Test Drives the 2020 Subaru Outback Limited Edition
Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, red light deaths, and other auto industry news.
This week The Car Pro was testing the all new 2020 Subaru Outback Limited Edition, one of Subaru's most popular cars. This model has been redesigned for 2020 with a new engine, as well as slight changes to the exterior. The car comes with safety technology that Jerry thought was amazing, saying, "I'm not sure there's a safer car in America than what Subaru is putting out right now." The car has dual cameras that point at the road ahead, watching the car in front of you to make sure you don't run into them, as well as making sure you stay in your lane.
On top of the dual cameras, there is a third camera that scans your face when you get in the car. Once it recognizes you, it will set all of your car's settings including seats, mirrors, and more to the presets that you set last time you were in the vehicle. You can store presets for up to 5 people.
I'll tell you what, I love Subarus as a whole, and I always enjoy them. I know it's not as glamorous as some of the cars I have, like the BMW 850 last week, but I'll tell you, these cars just continue to amaze me.
The car also comes with a powered moonroof, gets 33 miles to the gallon on the highway, and a very good all wheel drive system. The car has an MSRP of $36,500.
