Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS 450, a new entry in the Mercedes lineup. The car has a dull gray matte finish, which Reynolds said that some people love and some hate. Jerry seemed pretty pleased with this car overall, saying, "I'll tell you, this car is a real joy to drive." He explained that it has a nice, quiet drive on the highway, 360 horses, a 6 cylinder engine with turbo, and one of its most impressive features: an adaptive cruise control. With this adaptive cruise control, the car will speed up and slow down on its own and will keep the same distance from the car in front of you. On top of this, the car will also read speed limit signs and automatically change your speed, while still maintaining the speed difference you had before. So for example, if you were going 80 in a 75, and the car reads a sign for 65, it will slow you down to 70, maintaining those 5 mph you were going over the limit previously.

Jerry also talked about some articles on his website carprousa.com, including one talking about how heavy duty trucks are becoming very popular right now. The story includes pricing and details on Ram's heavy duty lineup. Another story on the website talks about the danger of fake airbags that are being placed into used cars.
