Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was driving the 2019 Chevy Equinox SUV, Chevy's compact SUV, which in reality is a little bigger than most of its type. Jerry was driving the premiere edition, with all wheel drive. The car has a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine with turbo charge. Jerry compared the car to the 2018 version that he had driven 2 years prior, and commented on how much more powerful the engine is now, a trend that you can see with many modern cars with turbo engines.

"When you kick that turbo in, this thing really picks up and goes, but when you're driving it normally, you're getting really good gas mileage."

The car has good back seat room and cargo room. It also drives well, has good handling, is quiet inside, and has a window sticker price of $39,100.

Jerry also talked about some articles on his website carprousa.com, including one on why you shouldn't fear supercharger engines, seeing how it seems that they are here to stay, as well as another article on car advertisements at the Super Bowl and how it affected the companies sales.
