Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, national child safety week, and other auto industry news.

The Car Pro was driving around for his test drive this week in the 2019 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe. Some notable points about this car is that it has a very nice exterior, and isn't super big, but Jerry was mostly impressed with how fast the car was. With almost 500 horses, and a top speed of 189 mph, the Cadillac ATS-V can go from zero to sixty miles per hour in 3.8 seconds.

"I'll you you, this thing, when you get on it, it is just a monster."

The only two complaints that Jerry had with the vehicle were that it didn't have all wheel drive, which he thinks could greatly enhance its performance, as well as the high price for the vehicle at $80,000.

Jerry also talked about some stories from his website carprousa.com. With it being National Child Safety Week, Jerry wrote an article on child safety seats. "People need to make sure that their child seats are properly installed. The statistics are staggering on how many are installed wrong," Jerry explained. He went on to say that many people think that they have their seats installed correctly, only to find out later that they are not. Another story on carprousa.com is why some used cars cost more than new cars, where Jerry goes into what factors can affect the price of used and new vehicles and what to look for.
