Jason Corley Says County Commissioner Position Not A Career Path [INTERVIEW]
Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show Jason Corley, candidate for Lubbock County Commissioner Precinct 2 joined Chad in the KFYO studio to discuss issues in the campaign.
Corley and Hasty talked about several issues, including the hotly contested race's controversies, as well as property taxes and county resources management.
While speaking on the subject of recent commissioner pay raises, Corley said,
I want to get into that office and treat it for what it is, it's a civil servant's position, it's not a career path. I want to be able to be your County Commissioner for Precinct 2 so we can maintain our roads, and then try to keep our tax rates as low as possible.
