Lubbock get ready for a night of good music and helping a good cause.

Turnpike Troubadours just announced tickets go on sale March 21st at 10 a.m. for their benefit concert in Lubbock next weekend.

Turnpike Troubadours formed in 2005, assembling a lineup that eventually included frontman Evan Felker, lead guitarist Ryan Engleman, fiddle player Kyle Nix, bassist R.C. Edwards, drummer Gabe Pearson, and steel guitar and accordion player Hank Early. They are an American country music band from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Their debut album, Bossier City, was released in 2007 and the first of five studio albums the group would release. Their self-titled 2015 album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and inside the Top 5 of U.S. Country, Folk, Rock and Indie charts. 2017’s A Long Way from Your Heart would peak at number 3 on the Billboard Top Country chart.

They are now adding a stop in Lubbock, Texas for a benefit concert. Red Shahan will be joining them, promising to make the night an unforgettable experience of solidarity, music, and hope.

The recent Pandhandle wildfires have left a lasting impact on the Panhandle, affecting families, farmers, ranchers, wildlife, and our natural surroundings. Every ticket purchased goes directly to the Panhandle Wildfire Relief, providing essential resources and aid to those in need.

It is happening at Cook's Garage Bus Barn on Thursday, March 28th, 2024 at 6 p.m. You can buy tickets here.
